Lawrence is the Director of Cartwright Fleet Services and built CFS to deliver a fleet management solution which not only took the everyday hassle out of managing commercial fleets, but ensured the service was built with the customer in mind.
Lawrence started in the transport industry in 1985! and ensured he took hold of every experience; learning about and exploring what makes businesses in this industry successful. Over the years he had the privilege of working for some big players in the industry where compliance, cost control and downtime was a given. He understood more was needed and knew it was just as important to be aware of ever-changing environments in customers industries and markets. This highlighted the changing needs of customers and how the fleet management industry needed to evolve to meet the demands successfully. An effective fleet management company not only had to meet customers commercial needs but also needed to work in partnership with customers to support them in delivering to their end users. Ultimately this saw the birth of CFS.
Today Lawrence is still learning and exploring, listening to customers and understanding their requirements and demands. Thinking outside the box is a norm to providing innovative solutions for our customers and the uniqueness of CFS allows bespoke solutions to be developed and implemented swiftly and effectively.
Rob has worked for CFS since 2016. With a lifelong career in transport, logistics and fleet management as well as a solid background in IT, Rob enjoys solving the puzzles created by changing customer demands as well as a changing industry.
When not rethinking Fleet Management Rob likes nothing better than to make weird sounds using even weirder gadgets. Beep boop!
Head of Finance
Thomas joined the business in 2016 as Finance Analyst bringing with him valuable experience gained from large market players such as Bentley, Unilever, Loreal. The growth of CFS and Thomas’s focus, attention to detail and accuracy have seen him significantly improve the business. His knowledge of the business has seen the introduction of various system and manual procedures and ultimately improving profitability. Thomas now heads up a dedicated Finance Team.
Originally from Poland Thomas moved to the UK 12 years ago. Outside of work Thomas enjoys skiing and traveling.
Clare joined CFS in 2018 and currently manages the operational teams at CFS Head Office, ensuring the best processes are in place to enable effective communication flows between customers, suppliers, and all internal departments.
With over 20 years’ experience starting with prestige cars and working up to commercial vehicles, Clare has previously managed teams for a major breakdown organisation, a large commercial vehicle contract hire company and a major retailer. All roles have revolved around ensuring the customer has the best experience possible. Clare’s knowledge and skills are focused on people management, building and developing teams to ensure contractual obligations are met and exceeded along with delivering scheduled and legislative maintenance management. She has experience in all areas of fleet management from purchasing to end of contract including the development and implementation of process improvements and system enhancements to ensure high levels of customer service are experienced by all involved.
Lindsey started working for CFS in 2017 as a National Account Manager, managing a number of key customers. For over 18 years Lindsey worked for two large global lease and rental companies, initially as a Branch manager latterly transitioning into the role of Contract manager. During this time Lindsey has mastered her skills.
With this wealth of experience Lindsey has delivered an impressive track record in managing some of the largest fleets in the UK. Her knowledge and skills have earned her the strong, successful relationships she has with her customers at all levels, this, together with her openminded and forward-thinking approach is effective and vital to the strategic development and growth of all CFS accounts.
Outside of work Lindsey takes a keen intertest in the arts and is a keen supporter of the theatre as well as socialising with friends and family – chin chin!
Key Account Manager
Gareth joined CFS in 2019 bringing with him 20 years of experience from the insurance and fleet management industries ranging from car to HGV. Along with his industry knowledge Gareth has built his people management skills enabling him to effectively develop relationships with customers not only at decision maker level but also at all operational levels with both customers and maintenance providers. His vast knowledge of our industry and his customer’s industry is key to the successful management of one of the fastest growing multi-award-winning food and drink logistics companies in the UK.
Outside of work Gareth enjoys walking, mountain biking and winter mountaineering.

Head of National Networks
Lee is the newest member of the CFS Management Team joining in 2019 with over 32 years of experience in the transport industry. Lee’s introduction to the industry began when he served his time in the workshop of a heavy haulage company ultimately becoming the workshop supervisor. His move into management for a large trailer rental company was not a surprise and his 12 month secondment to the procurement department of one of the top UK supermarkets provided a wealth of knowledge within the logistics market. This led to other technical and management positions and ultimately senior positions with major rental companies within 2 different divisions. CFS’s Network division now benefits from Lee’s vast technical and managerial knowledge and experience.
Outside of work Lee has shown an interest in modelling which was taken up quite late in his transport career.
